Hardy Ute is founder and operator of Ute Auto Sales & services with dealerships in Las Vegas, Reno, and Carson City, Nevada. His dealerships sell new and used cars, SUVs, minivans, and trucks as services customers’ vehicles. To analyze sales and service at each of his three dealerships, Hardy asks his staff to prepare a regular report. Hardy wants the report to show the unit and dollar sales of new and used vehicles by type. In addition, he wants to see if his service business is bringing in the revenue that he anticipates.
